At this East Sussex home, our client had an exposed aggregate sloping pathway that led to their front door. It was slippery, cracking and needed updating in order to blend into their beautifully landscaped front garden.

We created a new pathway by installing brick steps topped with Indian sandstone and extensive drainage in order to counteract the erosion the previous pathway had experienced. We repointed the existing steps to help increase their longevity and added a new patio so the homeowners can now enjoy their morning coffee in the full sunshine afforded to their  front garden.

Robertsbridge, East Sussex

Our client had an overgrown garden with various preexisting structures that needed to be demolished. After clearing the garden and relocating trees, plants and sheds, we then built a magnificent outdoor dining / seating area equipt with a custom detailed green oak pergola. The seating area and steps were built from reclaimed York stone, while the raised beds and walls are a beautiful display of Sussex sandstone walling. This project was undertaken in the winter so the raised beds and surrounding areas were left cleared and seeded ready for new growth and planting in the spring and summer.

Salehurst, East Sussex

At this East Sussex home, our client had an existing patio base on which they wanted a new finish. We built a beautiful Indian Sandstone patio with curved edges and a curved step leading down to their garden area. We also built a long rectangular step to allow access to both  back doors.

A brick border was constructed separating their existing concrete slab patio and the new Indian Sandstone area. We then spent time restoring and repointing the old portion of the patio, both to extend its lifespan and create a polished overall appearance.

Stonegate, East Sussex

Covering up the site of a WWII air-raid shelter, we have built a custom designed wooden decking area in Peasmarsh, East Sussex.

This beautiful entertaining area is made of composite soft wood and is enhanced by subtle features such as hidden decking fasteners to keep the entire area looking clean and smooth. The heavy duty trellis is accented by custom cut beam details and braces, creating a lovely soft finish to the project.
